FAQs

What should I expect?

After guiding you through how we work together and booking your first appointment over the phone, a highly experienced senior Physiotherapist will visit you at home or place of residence. The Physio will listen closely to your current health/movement concerns followed by a complete assessment, including a full history, environment and physical.

Your Physio will discuss their findings, discuss YOUR goals and develop a treatment/rehabilitation plan tailored to our needs and preferences. Advice and/or treatments will commence immediately, the number of sessions will depend on the severity of your condition and your goals.

Once you have agreed on a plan your Physio may use a combination of treatments including movement, exercise, manual therapy techniques, heat therapy, functional training, mobility aid prescription, education and advice. These treatment sessions may occur at home, outdoors, in a pool or at a community venue.

Once your goals have been achieved we will discuss what comes next. There are many community based groups that are low cost, engaging and effective at building on your achievements.
